House Rules & Rental Terms

By completing a reservation on our website, you (the "Guest") enter into a direct rental agreement with the owner of Bonvicini 10, Venice (the "Host"). Please read these terms carefully before booking.

⚠️ Quick Reference Rules:
  • Max Occupancy: 3 guests maximum.
  • Check-in: From 15:00 | Check-out: By 10:00.
  • No smoking inside the apartment (including vapes/e-cigarettes).
  • No parties or events are permitted.
  • Strict compliance with Venice municipal waste disposal rules is required.

1. Reservation & Occupancy

  1. The maximum occupancy of the apartment is strictly limited to 3 guests. Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.
  2. In compliance with Italian Police regulations (Art. 109 T.U.L.P.S.), all guests must present valid identification (Passport or national ID card) and complete guest registration prior to check-in.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

  1. Check-In Time: From 15:00 onwards. Self-check-in details will be provided once the guest registration portal is completed.
  2. Check-Out Time: By 10:00 on the day of departure. Late check-outs must be pre-arranged and may incur additional fees.

3. House Rules & Quiet Hours

  1. Quiet Hours: Respect our neighbors and historical building context. Quiet hours must be observed between 22:00 and 08:00. Loud music, parties, or noisy events are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  2. Smoking: Bonvicini 10 is a strict non-smoking property. Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or electronic cigarettes) inside the apartment is prohibited. Violations will trigger a €250 deep-cleaning fee.
  3. Pets: Pets are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing by the Host.

4. Venice Waste Disposal Regulations (Raccolta Differenziata)

The Municipality of Venice has strict regulations for garbage disposal. Failure to follow these rules results in severe financial penalties from local authorities. Guests are required to:

  1. Sort recycling (plastic/metal, glass, paper, organic/food, and dry residual waste) in the provided bins.
  2. Dispose of waste according to the municipal schedule provided inside the house guide. Do not leave garbage outside the door on the street or in common courtyard spaces, as this is strictly illegal in Venice and heavily fined.

5. Damages & Security Deposit

  1. Guests agree to keep the apartment and all furniture, fittings, and contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay.
  2. Any damages, breakages, or malfunctioning equipment must be reported to the Host immediately.
  3. Guests are financially liable for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged property caused during their stay. The Host reserves the right to charge the guest's payment card or request direct reimbursement for verified damage costs.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Unless specified otherwise in your specific booking tier:

  • Standard Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date. Full refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, or no-shows, are non-refundable and will be charged the full amount of the stay.
  • We highly recommend guests obtain travel insurance to protect against unexpected trip disruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Host is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings left in the apartment.
  2. The Host is not liable for temporary utility disruptions (water, electricity, internet) due to public infrastructure failures beyond our control.
